Oblique

During my junior year I fell in love with our department’s history professor, Dr. Betancourt. I decided to take his second class in alternative production techniques. This allowed me to try so many different things from glitch to projection art. For my final I combined multiple ways of interpolating footage to create an oblique work. There is a loose narrative about someone breaking their foot within the work you can make out me acting like I just hurt my foot really bad. Most of the piece was made using datamoshing and camera feedback loops
